Project consisted of both civil works to Shannon harbour mooring areas and ancillary amenity works. The civil works consisted of a new roadway leading to the harbour area, including for ducting, storm water, mains water, street lighting and foul water. Road markings and pathways were also included. Works to Harbour consisted of replacement of harbour wall, mooring cleats, new timber rubbing strip to harbour wall, working pathway for mooring, railing to harbour to facilitate new raised coloured path along waters edge of harbour. The amenity works were for electronically accessed Laundry facilities, shower and toilet blocks. A boat house and municipal building containing kitchens, dining areas and meeting rooms for Waterways Ireland at waters edge also a secured play area and street furniture for public use. – €800,000 ex VAT
