Phase 1 – Special Care Baby Unit [SCBU] + Private Rooms
This project involved the creation of a new Special Care Baby Unit and new Private rooms within the existing Regional Midland Portlaoise Hospital by the demolition of existing walls and wards inside the Hospital and rebuilding these to a very high medical specification.
Phase 2 – New Endoscopy Unit
This phase involved the complete refurbishment of an existing corridor with internal demolition of walls for a new twin endoscopy area.
Phase 3 – X-Ray Department
Where the old Portlaoise A&E was this was being used as offices which we refurbished into new X-ray department, Physiotherapy and Ultrasound rooms with full services.
